Asia Argento and Ashton Whitty

Ashton Blaise Whitty is an American actress, born in Berkeley on October 1, 1995. She is an actress of renown who was on Choices (2010). The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2006,) and Chrissie Mayr's Content House.

Asia Argento, born in Rome to a family that comprises directors and actors pursued both professions. Aged nine the actress made her film debut alongside Sergio Citti in Sogni e bisogni. She was the main role in Cristina Comencini's first movie Zoo (1988), as well as being part of Michele's casting in The Church (1989). She was Nanni Moretti's daughter later in the season on the film Red Wood Pigeon (also directed Moretti) (1989). Close Friends (1992) by Michele Placido (both writer and director) was the point at which Asia started to really become a household name. It allowed her to progress beyond the role of cute girls into more complex adult character. This movie received a positive reception in the Cannes International Film Festival. She's made three films with her father, Trauma, The Stendhal syndrome and Phantom of the Opera. The Phantom of the Opera The film, made in collaboration with her father who passed away and is the final of three films she's worked on. The other two were Trauma as well as The Stendhal Syndrome. Giuseppe Piccioni used her absorbed and intense style of acting in the film Condannato a Nozze. She also had a featured performance in the international ensemble of Queen Margot produced by Patrice Chereau. The actress was again a part of Michel Piccoli on Peter Del Monte's Traveling Companion in 1995, earning her another David di Donatello as and a Grolla D'oro. Asia began directing in 1994 she produced two short films: Prospettive (1996), documentary about her father, and Abel/Asia (1998) Abel/Asia, a feature about cult filmmaker Abel Ferrara. The latter was awarded an award at the Rome Film Festival. Asia made her debut as a feature-length director with Scarlet Diva (2000). In the film, she also starred and authored the screenplay. It came out on the 20th of May, 2000, in Italy and the rest of world. The film won awards at the Williamsburg Festival of Brooklyn, New York. Anna Lou, the first of her two daughters was born in January 2001. The year 2002 saw Asia on The Red Siren with Jean Marc Barr, and Rob Cohen's Action-Thrille, directed by Vin Diesel. Asia has also been the author of numerous short stories published in many prestigious magazines
